The fifth and final session will bring the action steps about scaling into sharp focus as we look at how different large organizations work to diversify their small business vendors. The Session will feature a shorter lecture portion by its instructor, Steve Roth, and a longer panel discussion from Purchasing and Procurement Managers representing a broad cross-section of buyers including:

  • A major California State University with both Federal and State contracts.
  • A senior member of NorCal SBDC’s Regional Government Contracting group, PTAC, with extensive experience guiding clients through the bidding process.
  • A public and private regional enterprise.
  • A large service oriented corporation.
  • A financial services corporation.

These Purchasing and Procurement Managers will help all attendees better understand the purchasing processes used by a variety of large organizations.
