Norcal SBDC Affiliate partner, Port Labs Presents: Deep Dive: Prototype Your Product Session 2

Jun 22 3:00 pm — 4:00 pm

Event Details

Successfully navigating the prototyping process can make the difference between a beautiful idea that will never make it to market and a class-defining bestseller. But prototyping a product can be more complicated than anyone expects, and the process is full of avoidable pitfalls. You will need to work with skilled contractors, choose materials and methods, consider packaging strategies, and adapt to surprises along the way.

If you’re excited to develop a new product, join this Deep Dive for dedicated support!

What Are Deep Dives?

Deep Dives are multi-session, interactive workshops for 12-20 entrepreneurs. Participants build out essential components of their business plans in an environment of exploration and mutual support. In each session, our coaches deliver targeted short lectures, and facilitate a mix of curated breakout discussions, generative exercises, and 1:1 guidance. This facilitation lets participants implement learnings in real time. At the end of a Deep Dive, participants have a clear picture of their next steps to level up their projects, newly-written materials to achieve their goals, and a host of new connections to like-minded colleagues and coaches to support them on their journey.

What Will We Cover?

Deep Dive: Prototype Your Product is a four session series designed to take enthusiastic entrepreneurs through everything they need to know to go from ideation to iterative prototyping. Our Head Coach, Kyle Valiton, will cover key areas of focus in session and will also be available for 1:1 coaching throughout the session and beyond.

Session 1 (June 20): Defining Your Prototype

Session 2 (June 22): Working with Skilled Collaborators

Session 3 (June 27): Troubleshooting in Development
