The Norcal SBDC Restaurant Program presents this virtual workshop, required to meet the requirements for training under the FSMA regulation for the  Preventive Controls “Qualified Individual” who conducts Food Safety Plan activities such as developing and  reviewing a food safety plan, validating preventive controls, verifying, and validating process, among others.  Attending the FSPCA course will provide assurances that the course content and resulting knowledge is  consistent with regulatory expectations. Each facility registered with FDA is required to have a PCQI. This  course meets the PCQI training requirements. The participants will receive a FSPCA PCQI certificate of  attendance issued by AFDO. An overview of the Food safety Preventive Controls for Human Food  applicable regulations will be provided. Attendees will apply the concepts as they develop a Food  Safety Plan for a food processing facility. 

Presented by Oscar Camacho. Oscar Camacho has over 32 years of progressive, hands-on experience in the food industry including ownership of two food processing plants, He has been recipient of numerous team building commendations in management, operations, quality assurance, food safety, and Enterprise Risk Management.
