In this four-session Deep Dive module, clients work with our team and a group of their peers to:

-Better understand their business funding needs
-Get to know various sources of capital that might help their business start or grow
-Learn to plan for financial success as an entrepreneur
-Identify information required to get the capital you need

Companies selected for this program will have a working prototype of their product, or a clear definition of the product and their customer. Most companies will have raised little or any outside capital before participating.

Session 1 – April 18:
Identify Your Capital Need. Identify long term and short term business goals for each participant. Understand how capital investment supports achievement of these goals. Discuss creative strategies for getting early results with minimal investment.

Session 2 – April 20:
What Kind of Capital Should You Raise? Discuss various types of capital (debt, venture capital, seed investment, customer bootstrapping, crowdfunding), and the pros/cons of each. Identify the right types of funding for each participating business.

Session 3 – April 25:
How to Get the Capital You Need. Prepare a financial plan and other required information to start capital search. Participants fill out templates and create their own specific to-do lists depending on their capital mix.

Session 4 – April 27:
How to Manage your Funding. Discuss strategies for maximizing the impact of funding, stretching capital input, continuous capital search to fund early losses.
