Patrick develops and implements intellectual property (“IP”) strategies for clients in software technology, user interface innovation, mobile communications and personal data applications firms. Prior to attending law school, he served in a variety of technology marketing and sales engineering positions at software and semiconductor manufacturing equipment firms.
Patrick focuses on identifying the commercial significance of his clients’ innovative work and leverages this knowledge to support their marketing and funding campaigns.
Patrick has worked with a variety of start-ups to include database technology vendors, online entertainment ventures, out-of-the-box experience designers, and personal data analytics firms.
Patrick is a member of the U.S. Patent Bar and the California State Bar, a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Russian Language Studies, and has earned a BS in Sociology from the Excelsior College, a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo and a Juris Doctor from Concord University.
