Nene Tesa Abloso is CEO of Rostenica Consulting Group LLC. He moved to the Bay Area from Ghana in Africa. He aims to establish a holding company to support franchise, transport, sports, and entertainment divisions.

THE CHALLENGES

Tesa came to the Silicon Valley SBDC seeking assistance in planning his consulting business and doing financial projections for his business plan. Having relocated from Ghana to the Bay Area, he realized he needed to learn about the credit landscape and build his brand foundation in order to execute on his long-term goals.

THE RESULTS

With the help of the SBDC, Tesa overcame some of the challenges he faced by acting on the guidance received on business development, sales, and marketing. He attended the Growth Profit Series workshops and connected with his business advisor. Together, they conducted a SWOT analysis on his business, which helped him focus on areas of high mobility, identify opportunities for networking and establishing connections, as well as pursue collaboration and partnership-building.

This resulted in a new referral relationship, multiple productive referrals, an increase in revenue, hiring new employees, and client satisfaction. Tesa reported a $52k increase in sales and a personal investment of $47k.
