Overview: NorCal SBDC is seeking passionate and experienced professionals to join our network as independent contractors. This is your opportunity to contribute your skills to a diverse and thriving entrepreneurial community across Northern California.
Key Application Information:
- Application Validity: Your information will be kept on file for three years; updates are only required for changes in personal details.
- Contract Duration: The contract term is one year, with information validity extending to three years.
- Eligibility: Open to all except current employees of any California State University (CSU) campus or Auxiliary.
- Flexibility in Service Delivery: Services can be provided both in-person and remotely, without the requirement to live in the service region.
Areas of Service: As an independent contractor with NorCal SBDC, you’ll have the chance to work across various specialized service areas, including:

- Special Programs SBDC: A hub for unique services like the Restaurant Program, Finance Center, The Inclusivity Project, and Tech Futures Group.
