This class is designed for current and aspiring small business owners who are new to eCommerce. We will focus on the basic realities of eCommerce in the age of Amazon, setting realistic investment and return expectations, evaluate the most popular eCommerce platforms, and provide next-steps for engaging a freelancer or agency.

By the end of this course you will be able to determine if eCommerce is right for their business, which platform is right for you, and what to expect in regards to budget, time, and return.

 

Jake Nelson’s large web Design & Development Agency served clients globally including brands such as Thomson Reuters, Target, Cirrus Aircraft, as well as dozens of other startups and small, indy brands. He sold this business in 2015 and has since moved his family to Santa Cruz put his experience in technology to good use as an eCommerce Advisor with the Santa Cruz SBDC.
