Join us for  one or all of the following sessions where you will learn the basics of using QuickBooks Desktop. From setting up your account for the first time to learning how to run reports. 

Session 1 - Thursday 16th, 5:30pm-7:30pm - Accounting 101 & Getting started with QuickBooks Desktop

Topics will cover the basics of accounting, which QuickBooks version is best for your business, and setting up your company and chart of accounts in QuickBooks Desktop.


Session 2 - Friday 17th, 5:30pm-7:30pm - Setting up items and Creating Forms in QuickBooks Desktop

Topics will cover: Setting up items , using purchasing orders, customizing invoices and creating other forms.


Session 3 - Saturday 18th, 10:00am-12:00pm - Accounts Receivables      

Topics will cover: Setting up online bank feeds, creating estimates and invoices, sales receipts, receiving payments, and managing accounts payable reports. 


Lunch break (On your own) 12:00-1:00pm


Session 4 - Saturday 18th, 1:00pm-3:00pm - Accounts Payable, Banking Reconciliations, and Reports

Topics will cover: Syncing bank accounts, undeposited funds, entering expenses and bills, paying bills, managing reports, Profit & Loss sheet, and Balance Sheet.

Should I bring my Computer? Although it’s not required, you are more than welcome to bring your laptop computer if you already have QuickBooks Desktop installed on it. Many find it helpful to follow along and are also able to receive specific help with any issues (as time allows).
