Powerful Solutions and Creativity: The social intersection of businesses and nonprofit organizations

Did you know that Santa Cruz County has solved some of our biggest problems? For example, every child had health insurance coverage here long before the Affordable Care Act; we’ve greatly reduced child maltreatment rates; we’ve preserved thousands and thousands of acres of land for public benefit; we are helping teachers buy their first homes…and so much more. Every solution in our County came through the dreams, ideas and hard work of our neighbors. Come learn about:

  • How nonprofits are changing the county
  • The in’s and out’s of becoming and succeeding as a nonprofit
  • Community Foundation’s work to bring together people, ideas and resources to make this a thriving place for all who call it home
