The Northern California SBDC Lead Center (a program of Humboldt State University Sponsored Programs Foundation) is requesting proposals from entities wishing to join the Northern California Network. Organizations are invited to submit proposals to host Small Business Development Centers, which will deliver high-quality services to small businesses and new entrepreneurs allowing them to start and grow businesses, create jobs, increase sales, and gain capital and investment. Small Business Development Centers provide direct and measurable economic benefits to the communities they serve. Eligible entities include, but are not limited to institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations engaged in economic development activities, cities and counties that have pre-existing economic development departments, and public economic development institutions such as workforce investment boards and economic development corporations.
