It is required under the California State Health Code that one person in each food service operation has a Food Manager Safety Certification. The National Registry's Certified Food Safety Professional Examination was developed following the strictest test development procedures. National Registry's exam and certification is accepted in all states, including California. Certification is recognized nationwide and is good for five years. The class typically lasts 6 hours and participants must pass the 80 question exam. (Cost includes Study Guide, Exam, and Card).

Please note that a valid photo ID is required to take the exam.

PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TRAINING EVENTS; payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event. To register & pay by credit card, click on the blue "REGISTER NOW” button and follow the instructions. To pay by check, please make your check payable to Napa Valley College and mail to Napa-Sonoma SBDC, 2277 Napa-Vallejo Hwy, BLDG 3300, Napa, CA 94558. Please note that your payment must arrive before the start of training to secure your space.
