Tuesday, June 13, 2017 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Whether you are just starting a business or have an existing one, this is a good opportunity for you to identify the common risks associated with your business. Your business is subject to internal risks, (weakness), and external risks, (threats). Generally you can control internal risks once you identify them, however, external risk may be out of your control. However, most risk can be turned into positive experiences for potential expansion or future growth opportunities.

What you will learn:

  • Internal and external risk of a small business,
  • How to identify and reduce the negative effects these can have on your business,
  • Warning signs of risks,
  • Steps in risk management planning,
  • The importance of containing these risks,
  • How to turn risks into positive experiences for growth,
  • The need for an exit strategy.
