This seminar introduces the best practices for website optimization for the small business owner. We will explain the vital role a website plays in promoting your business and engaging with your customer, and demonstrates techniques for optimizing the performance of your website and maximizing the attention it receives. We will explain both how to improve an existing website and how to design and build a new one. 

In this seminar, you will learn about: 

  • Website design elements (such as site maps and wire frame diagrams) 
  • Domain registration pitfalls 
  • Website hosting options and user experience guidelines 
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) using Google Analytics & Google Search Console 
  • Website 2.0 functionality that enhances user interaction (e.g. online chat and website blogs) 
  • Social media techniques to further increase user interaction. 

David Bokash, presenter, has more than 20 years management consulting, marketing, business strategy, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Information Technology (IT), engineering and project/product management experience. Over the past few years he has served as a consultant advising startups and established companies on product marketing, internet commerce, website development, business strategy, IT project management and SCM.
